Title: Sewer Monster

Description: I absolutely adore monster movies. I don't care if the monster is from space, from the bottom of the sea, from another dimension, from the heart of the jungle, or from the sewer. What intrigues me the most is a monster's biology. A monster has to exist somehow, right? What lets them keep ticking, keep living, even though their biology seems in conflict with our understanding of life? This piece is a play off of the urban legend of sewer gators, and features a vaguely crocodilian creature adapted for life in the sewers. While sewers actually do play host to hidden ecosystems, a large, specialized vertebrate species is entirely unheard of.
